La Belle Etoile

Located at the foot of the Luberon mountain at the edge of the village of Lourmarin, La Belle Etoile is a charming 3150 sq.ft. farmhouse set on over 17 acres of prime Provençal real estate and surrounded by umbrella pines, olive trees and vineyards. It features 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (3 with shower), a large 840 sq ft living room, and a fully equipped kitchen.

Entry is through the scullery which leads to the kitchen (with access to the living area), and an entrance hall which leads to the living area and the first floor. If you venture to the right, it leads to the toilet, the laundry, the hand washing basin in the hall. This direction also leads to an independent portion with bedroom with a queen size bed, en-suite (bathroom with shower, and basin) and private access to the garden.

12 stone stairs from the entrance hall lead to 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms overlooking the landscaped park and the Luberon mountain. 2 have bathrooms (with bath and basin) adjacent.

On the landing, 2 bedrooms are on the right. On the left there is another bedroom with access to the terrace. These 3 bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath tub, bidet and wash basin. At the end of the corridor there are 2 bedrooms.

Inside facilities include 3 independent toilets, 4 bathrooms , TV, DVD and CD players, antique decorative fire-place, laundry (with ironing set and washing machine), incoming calls, Internet Wi-Fi and a window net in all bedrooms.

Additional Information Guests generally arrive in Paris at Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) and transfer to the high speed TGV train headed for Avignon. Once in Avignon, a rental car is suggested to drive to the villa.
Other options include flying into Marseille (MRS) or Nice (NCE) and then renting a car.
There is also a small airport in Avignon that has some flights from London and can also accommodate private jets.
